Paul Madryga - Guitar
Paul's Vision Statement: "To nurture a sustainable classical guitar program that will enable children to achieve their full potential as musicians and as people, while serving as a model for high-quality guitar-teaching and a catalyst for cultural development in the Western Manitoba corner of the global community."
Through the medium of classical guitar, Paul strives to use his advanced training as a musician and a teacher to develop the musical abilities of the young families of today, in order to help mould the character of the adults of tomorrow. Paul completed his Bachelor of Music degree from Brandon University and a Masters degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the Queensland Conservatorium. In 2010, he released his second solo CD, Tone Colour Paintbrush. Paul's work at the Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory of Music includes one-on-one teaching in the Suzuki and traditional environments, Suzuki Guitar group class instruction, the Guitar Ensemble Program, and professorial duties as the applied instructor for classical guitar at Brandon University. Paul has adjudicated at several festivals in Western Canada, and is also an accomplished arranger and music engraver, with several self-published works to his credit. CONTACT: madryga@brandonu.ca |
