Allison Warrian - Cello
Allison recognizes the privilege and honour of being invited into the childhoods and lives of her students.
She endeavours to nurture in her students an awareness of their great potential. She aims for her students to develop the confidence to pursue their dreams; to acquire experience discerning and forging a path toward their goals; and to learn to find joy in this process. Allison lives in Winnipeg with her husband and young son. She maintains a large teaching studio of cellists, serves on the board of directors of the Agassiz Chamber Music Festival, and is the Program Coordinator for Suzuki Music Winnipeg. She holds a Master of Music in Literature and Performance from Western University. She is indebted to her teachers - Faith Reimer, Arlene Dahl, Alex Adaman, Paul Marleyn and Thomas Wiebe - for their unique perspectives and influence on her life. Allison is thrilled to be joining the Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory of Music and Brandon Suzuki Talent Education Program this fall. |
